Marriage Equality Rhode Island: Breaking News: Senate approves funeral rights for domestic partners
Currently, Rhode Islanders are left without any rights if their domestic partner dies. It leads to endless nightmares for surviving partners, particularly for those who don’t have a good relationship with their late partner’s family.
Piece by piece, maybe we’ll finally get some equal rights. Now the bill goes to the House.
